Restaurants, What You’ll Eat, Shopping and Markets, Recipes

Like Pavlov’s salivating canine, my mind responds to the word “Mexico” with mouth-watering visions of grilled lobsters swimming in garlic sauce, golden tacos stuffed with thick wedges of buttery avocado and baskets of plump, warm pastries washed down with tall glasses of fresh orange juice. Of course, there’s more to Mexico than stuffing yourself–but how can I forget the first taste of a mango milkshake or the sensory overload of fresh chile habanero?

There is an incredible range of food in Mexico and many interesting places to eat it. The journey involves surprises; those with a love for the unknown, who dare to be adventurous, will be richly rewarded. My motto is: When in doubt, close your eyes and chew.
