  1. -EL CODO- says:

    CHINGUS
The Lenny Bruce of the Speaking Foul of the world. Given to me by the daughter of a widow.

    Here’s Chingus…

You enter the sala (living room) of my quaint Chiapas rental shack…

    The bird espies his victim..

    “Ven” he calls (come here)

Most folks moved a few feet closer…

“Ven” the bird squaws a little louder…you close the distance…

“VEN!” The bird orders. The command is unmistakeable; you move to within a couple of feet from the cage…

    “¡CHINGA TU! the bird screams.

He then gargles a full-throated avian chuckle and rocks back and forth on his perch.

Stupid bird only repeated this obscene behavior with victims that yelled back at him or slapped the cage outraged.

The bird restrictions have me pause to bring Chingus north of the border and then there would be the embarrassment of having to translate. Chingus was passed on to a priest. I left town the next day.
